And the Zuffenhausen lover has decided his mid-engined delights needs a new look, which is why he turned to the wrap industry. Following a neat second skin job, the Porscha is dressed in a green livery that stands out from a distance - this just looks so fresh, so clean.
And the black wheels of the car, along with the red brake calipers, come to generate a stark contrast that draws even more attention to the vehicle.
As you'll notice in one of the Instagram posts below, this Cayman GT4 also seems to have its personal guard dog, even though, I'm not sure how well that duty is covered.
Sure, the original GT4 is not perfect, with certain units experiencing tech issues involving the front strut tower failure and third gear problems, but, these were only reported on a limited number of units.
I'll use this opportunity to remind you that the middle section of the Porsche Cayman GT4 is occupied by a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter, with the flat-six being borrowed from the 991.1 Neunelfer Carrera S.
Interestingly, the engine has been kept in production, but not for the 718 Cayman GT4, since the newcomer features a fresh 4.0-liter atmospheric boxer based on the twin-turbo 3.0-liter unit of the 992 Carrera S.
Instead, I'm refering to the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport. The German carmaker talks about the 3.8L unit having been maintained thanks to the racing teams having already become familiar with it.
Of course, the unit was upgraded and it now delivers 425 hp, which is 5 ponies more than the output of the road-going 718 GT4.
