If you’re crazy about the second-generation Chevrolet C10, you’ve come to the right place, as today we’re going to introduce you to a classy, restomod-like 1968 pickup truck.
Owned by Howard and Janet Stubbins, this stunning Orange Pearl painted truck is the work of Hot Rods & Hobbies. The Californian shop gutted the truck and used several modern-day parts in the rebuild process, including a 500+ Chevrolet Performance engine and a TH-400 transmission.

Inside, the vehicle was fitted with cappuccino leather upholstery, a bespoke glovebox door with Classic Instruments gauges, a Pioneer audio system and many more. Scroll below for more photos of the truck and head over to Custom Classic Trucks for the full story behind the vehicle.

And now, it's time for the regular history lesson. The Chevy C/K was present in the United States market from 1960 until 2002. Although some of your might know this, we feel obliged to mention C stands for two-wheel drive while the K badge meant the vehicle was fitted with an all-wheel drive system.

Now, coming back to the 1968 C10 truck, you also need to know it was nicknamed Action Line and came with a more modern look that its predecessor. Moreover, it was built with the aim of bringing more comfort and practicality as well as convenience items on a vehicle that was initially build only for hard-work purposes and agricultural tasks.

In 1968, a new 396 cu. in. (6.5-liter) V8 was offered for the first time, and owners had a maximum power of 310 horsepower at their disposal. However, this proved inadequate for Howard and Janet Stubbins, who imbued their Chevy C10 to almost double that value. Don't get us wrong, we don't mind seeing this mad but beautiful creations as long as we know the car has been properly preserved, rather than be left to rust in a barn.
