It's not an unusual practice to have one's car towed away. However, when people fight back, funny or unexpected videos might surface online. It's the case of this clip here, when one determined owner didn't want to give in without a fight.
Now, this whole thing's premise seems a bit week. What were the chances of Tony Marengo, the uploader of the video, to be right there when all of this happened? What were the chances that he was positioned perfectly?
It sounds like a planned stunt from Jeep to advertise its all-wheel drive system used on the Wrangler. Why? Well, not every car out there could escape the hold the tow truck had on it. Furthermore, not any car with an all-wheel drive system would be able to get out of there.
That's because the rear wheels were suspended at the time, the car's transmission having to rely on the front axle to get out of this... sticky situation. There's also an unexpected lack of response from the driver of the tow truck but then again, maybe we spent too much time watching all sorts of TV shows...
Getting back to the matter at hand here, the uploader does seem legit, with his first video on Youtube being uploaded more than 7 years ago. Therefore, this actually seems like the real deal. What remains to be settled is whether the car was being repossessed or towed for some misdemeanor. Any guesses?
