The thirteenth-gen Ford F-Series pickup truck is already in customers hands, but the SVT-grade Raptor is not yet available. Some voices claim the Detroit Auto Show will see Ford launch the off-road warrior, but what if you don’t want to wait for it to debut?
Mr. John Hennessey and its Texas-based tuning company is offering a pretty potent alternative to the new-gen F-150 SVT Raptor. See that yellow dune trooper? It’s known as the 2015 Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged and it’s probably the most extreme 2015 Ford F-150 truck we’ve seen.

Compared to the 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor and its 6.2-liter V8 with 411 hp and 434 lb-ft (588 Nm) of torque, this fellow right here churns out over 600 ponies, a lot more than the 5.0 V8’s factory-spec 385 hp.

This baja-inspired truck’s vee eight engine has been supercharged to that level of berserkness

HPE informs that a Roots-type blower running 8 psi of boost is the culprit, along with a high-flow air induction system and a stainless steel exhaust for better breathing and more aural pleasure. This modified FX4 Super Crew workhorse boasts with a few other things, including better injectors and ECU.

17-inch Hennessey wheels running 33-inch tires from BF Goodrich complete the VelociRaptor package.

If you want more, options such as custom off-road coilover suspension, upgraded front and rear bumpers, front winch, LED light bars, Brembo brakes and more can be added for the right price. Regarding the price, only 500 examples will ever be built, each holding a starting sticker of $73,500.

So you’d better be quick about it if you want to make the most potent 2015 F-150 around your own.
