FCA (Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles) just revealed the SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo concept, and just as everybody expected, the Gran Turismo 6 bound prototype is out of this world.

Although we were expecting the SRT Tomahawk to wreak havoc to any Playstation 3 console out there, FCA managed to go beyond their limits and come up with an alien example of a virtual racer.

So, let's start with the 'entry level' version if we can call it that. Going by the name of SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo S, this version uses a 7.0-liter V10 good for 792 horsepower. The front wheels are pneumatically driven, a solution that brings another 215 horsepower to the party for a combined power surge of 1,007 horsepower.

All those pixels account for a virtual weight of 2,026 lbs (918 kg), allowing the ultracar to secure a top speed of 250 mph (402 km/h). Being able to steer safely at such speeds is a must, so the prototype was fitted with nine active aerodynamic panels and two front splitters that actively steer the car through the air.

The second version of the SRT Tomahawk is a racing variant wearing the GTS-R badge. Just as in the S ego, pneumatically driven front wheels add 313 horsepower to the 1,137 horsepower tally provided by the V10 engine for a total output of 1,450 horsepower. We're also taking about a lighter car (tipping the scales at 1,459 lbs/661 kg) which means top speed is now over 300 mph (482 km/h).

We were not lying when we told you there's a 2,590 horsepower SRT Tomahawk Vision GT, despite the fact that this one is light-years away from even materializing as a real-life concept.

The SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo X has a redline set at 14,500 rpm, and the V10 engine pumps out 2,168 horsepower coupled with a 422 horsepower supplement coming from the front wheels.

The result is a bombastic 2,590 horsepower figure, allowing the racer to hit 404 mph (650 km/h). The driver has to wear a G-suit for protection just like fighter pilots, so yeah, it's safe to say the SRT Tomahawk is very 2050.
