The Dubai car scene is all about excess, about getting the latest Ferrari, Aston or Bentley. But of course the nation is filled with expats who maybe can't afford a Ferrari, but also have different taste in automobiles.
We don't know if this is the case here, but the very first VW Golf 7 GTI has appeared in Dubai and its a reasonably pretty car if you like hot hatches. Patrick3331 obviously liked it, since he took time away from filming supercar to take a look at the German car.
This is a 5-door GTI fitted with the 18-inch Austin wheels which we're not particularly fond of. The body is in Pure White and a few toys have clearly been added to the car, including parking sensors all round.
Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
