This is The Cheapest New SLS AMG Black Series

Known as the most hardcore version of the already bonkers Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, the Black Series is also the most expensive brother from the modern Gullwing family if the ridiculously-expensive Electric Drive variant or the GT3 racer are not taken into account.
In essence, the prohibitive price is both a good and a bad thing, generally-speaking, as it means that only a handful of people will only get the chance of actually owning such an awesome piece of old-school automotive technology.

Mere mortals (read: 99 percentile people) will never even see an SLS AMG Black Series on the road, but that doesn't mean that they can't have one for the mere price of around EUR 99.90 (recommended price including value-added tax in Germany). For American folks, that is around USD 138, or about the price of a full tank of gas.

The catch? Well, for that amount of moolah you will get yourself a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series miniature at 1:18 scale, made by model specialists from Minichamps.

Keep in mind that this isn't exactly a bad trade off, as the miniature model is made largely out of zinc die cast, based on the original CAD data for the real life car and it consists of over 120 individual parts.

Approximately 26 cm (10.2 inches) long, the hand-assembled model is pretty accurate, leaving its owner the possibility to open both gullwing doors, the engine and the luggage compartment hoods individually.

The even cooler part is that it comes coated in the exclusive AMG body color called Solar Beam, making for a future classic that may even increase in value as time goes by.
