This Is the 2021 Ford Bronco First Edition Interior Dressed Up in Black Onyx

Ever since it was finally revealed last July – after lots of speculation and teasing – the 2021 Ford Bronco has become one of the most anticipated models across the entire automotive industry. The wait isn’t over just yet, because we all know that the first deliveries have been allegedly postponed to June. Thus, the teasing and waiting game continues...

The latest entry for this game of patience comes in the form of a first look at a hotly debated option for the fully booked 2021 Bronco First Edition. Probably to appease popular outrage, the Blue Oval has gradually released new options for the reinvented off-roader's first limited series, including the exclusive Lightning Blue exterior color.

The company also proposes the 2021 Bronco First Edition with two interiors, the rather badly received two-tone Dark Space Gray/Navy Pier and the Black Onyx leather option that goes for a completely dark look save for some neatly placed white stitching for a little bit of contrast. The only issue, until now, was that we had no idea what the First Edition/Black Onyx combination looked like.

Thanks to Bronco Nation, that’s a thing of the past. Most of the fan comments are favorable, too, as opposed to the backlash caused by the poorly CGI-ed Navy Pier that can be viewed in the Bronco Build & Price online configurator tool (we have a real-world look at the option, if you want to compare them).

Naturally, the Black Onyx interior has been presented in combination with the exclusive Lightning Blue body paint, just to make the contrast pop out even more. We can also imagine the decidedly dark choice will bode well with the other paint options, particularly Cyber Orange and Rapid Red.

Of course, the roof-down pictures do reveal a particular problem – people will probably avoid getting inside the Black Onyx Bronco after the off-roader basked in the summer sun with the top down for more than two minutes.
