Usually, BMWs come in rather sober colors, from black to grey and other shades of black, rarely seeing them in red or even yellow. And yet, from time to time, a ‘hero’ comes along and sets things right. This hero was inspired by Superman.
It’s actually just a random BMW F30 3 Series, decked with carefully picked add-ons that, through their colors, create a rather ‘Superman-esque’ atmosphere.
The base color is Estoril Blue, available only with the M Sport package, as this 335i seems to be wearing. Then came the red contrasting accents on the boot lid spoiler, the rear air diffuser and the side skirts, as well as the brake calipers, wheel hub and lug nuts. The only remaining touch of red on the car left to be mentioned is a stripe on the kidney grille up front.
Still up front you’ll notice the gloss black kidney grille with another 2 colored bars, in yellow and blue, as Superman used to wear on his chest. To top everything off, a set of BBS CX-R wheels was added to the mix for some more style.
In the end, this 300 HP sedan rose to the occasion and changed the way we view Bimmers. As it turns out, they can also be merry and cheerful and not just serious business all the time.
