While Elon Musk’s Space X Falcon rocket just lifted off with communications satellite and Virgin Galactic keeps getting reservations, it’s pretty obvious the 21st century is all about space traveling. Well, at least for the ones who can afford it, of course. For those who don’t however, they could always try to replicate what this prankster did, the moment he road a blow up spaceship while skydiving.
Whether you’ll find it funny or not, you have to admit this fellow’s idea of riding a spacecraft is quite unique. You won’t really see Earth form outer space, but you’ll see the ground in truly interesting view.

And think of this. In case you didn’t manage to save enough money to buy a seat on Virgin Galactic’s future flights, which is (only) $250,000 a seat, and your future plans to become an astronaut didn’t really work out, you could reconsider your strategy.

This is pretty much what this genius prankster thought who brought a blow up spaceship with him on a skydiving jump from a hot air balloon. In other words, he road a spaceship back to Earth... and he filmed it, of course.

As to the safety issue, despite the perception of danger, you’ll want to know that fatalities are rare. About 21 skydivers are confirmed killed each year in the U.S., roughly one death for every 150,000 jumps (about 0.0007%) so you might reconsider.

However, in case you really want to take things seriously, you could try to get in Land Rover’s competition. The auto maker has recently launched a clash through which four aspiring astronauts will get the chance to take a trip with Virgin Galactic’s space shuttle. All you have to do is to produce a 30-second video, or a still image, that demonstrates your spirit of adventure and submit it via Land Rover’s website.
