This Is How the Crazy Stunts of Furious 7 Were Filmed

This weekend, cinemas around the world will be projecting the new Furious 7 film on their big screens. It’s probably the most anticipated movie in the franchise, considering the early demise of one of its star characters, Paul Walker.
Apparently, CGI goes a long way these days and the movie was completed without Paul actually being in the picture. That’s just a small detail in the grand scheme of things.

The thing is, according to the early reviews (this editor didn’t get the chance to see it yet) the last installment of the Fast and Furious saga is crazier than ever. As usual, the plot is rather slim, and the whole scenario isn’t exactly Oscar-worthy, no matter what Vin Diesel says. However, the action, crashes, stunts and everything else make it an absolute must to watch.

Testimony in this regard is the following video, posted below, that shows us how some of the stunts in the movie were done. It comes courtesy of GoPro, so we guess some of their Hero4 cameras were used during the making of the movie.

That’s because they are known to be extremely hard to destroy. There’s even footage of one of them falling from an airplane and surviving without a scratch. Well, almost without a scratch but, you get what I mean.

Just watch the video below, and you tell us if it doesn’t convince you to go see Furious 7. I mean, if not for the plot or the acting, at least to see all those beautiful Mercs and Chargers get blown into pieces.

Hat tip to all those stunt drivers that make these movies possible. That's some serious driving right there!
