Ryan Tuerck is a professional Formula Drift driver that also has his own show on Network A. Tuerck is all about... You guessed it: drifting. Therefore, BMW’s are an intrinsic part of his show and maybe his life.
In his most recent episode, published yesterday, he takes a trip to Europe to see how the drifting scene looks like on the other side of the Atlantic. First, he checked out the Reisbrennen JDM festival that was held at the EuroSpeedway in Germany. Needless to say that there were plenty of Toyota and Nissans out there and he even got behind the wheel of one that had no less than 700 HP.

Then he traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland and had a 3-day party at the Driftland Bash, a different kind of drifting competition. This is where things got naughty.

The Scots apparently have a different opinion as to how drifting should look like. Being a more open minded part of the UK, they consider that too much precision and too many rules are ruining what should be a beautiful, fun sport. Therefore, they adapted the sport to their own liking.

Ryan took the wheel of a couple of older BMWs and joined the fun. In the process he left a couple of them slammed and destroyed but it was only because that’s the custom out there. Looking back, we reckon this is how older Bimmers should be retired and not with a compactor. What do you think?
