The latest project developed by a Sonoma, California-based company called Tumbleweed is Cyprus. It's a really small wooden house on wheels that would make the perfect Woodie. Ranging in price from $57,000 to $66,000, the portable four walls features everything one needs to live comfortable and cosy, while still keeping things practical.
In size, it ranges from 130- to 172-square-feet (12- to 16-square-meters), depending on what package you chose for. The fool feature includes a kitchen, bedroom, living room, bathroom and a tiny front porch. It even has a washer/dryer and air conditioner. The Cypress design makes use of the most interior space, by incorporating a corner porch and utilizing the extra room as interior space.

The loft can be built with or without dormers, while the kitchen can feature a wide category of amnesties ranging from cooktops to full stoves. As to powering the wooden house, options vary from a full electric system with a 50A plug that powers the entire home, to a split system with a 30A plug and propane tanks on the hitch. The propane is then used for the heater, stove and water heater.

As to the plumbing there are a few choices. One can opt for full bathroom with shower and low flush RV toilet that can be connected to the sewer or an external holding tank. But he can also go for a shower and kitchen sink connected to the sewer, external holding tank, or gray water system. Toilet is a composting toilet.

You might call this portable house the ultimate Woodie, and that’s because not only it looks like one, but it’s almost the same size as well. In case you forgot what the Woodie is, we’ll remind you. It’s a car body style with rear bodywork constructed of wood framework with infill wood panels. Originally, wood framework augmented the car’s structure, where later models featured applied wood and wood-like elements.

We’re not quite sure if we’d go for this wooden house, considering the price tag, but we have to say it’s pretty inventive.
