This Guy Built a Hoverbike That Actually Works. Wait, It's Colin Furze

We've been following British DIY expert Colin Furze for a few years now. The man first grabbed our attention when he came up with home-brewed Wolverine claws, but one thing led to another and here we are, talking about how the guy built and flew a hoverbike.
Colin explains he's a self-taught builder and we have to admit that, after each one of his shed sessions, he comes up with amazing creations. However, after he built the AK-47-shooting Tuk Tuk, we made the mistake of expecting never to be surprised by his contraptions again.

That was quite an error, as you should've seen our faces when we came across the piece of footage below, which sees the eccentric welder/spanner bearer/electrician going all Top Gun on his propeller-gifted creature.

But was building a hoverbike that actually gets a man off the ground and seems to offer a respectable amount of control enough? Of course it wasn't, this is Colin Furze we're talking about.

Whether it was the Ford sponsorship or some wild dream, something convinced the mechanical aficionado the stunt must be complete. So Colin once again brought weapons to the table, as his "h-bike" can shoot fireworks.

Now, before you let your family know you'll be spending the next few weeks in the garage, you should know that, not even a guy who earns his living out of such shenanigans, like Colin here does, can claim such a project is an easy task.

In fact, one of the things we love this Brit for is his honesty and the clip contains a part that shows how building and learning to maneuver the air time beast wasn't exactly a walk in the park. Then again, Mr. Furze doesn't do walks in the park, as he uses his world record mobility scooter instead.

In his quest to bring you the most impressive automotive creations, Andrei relies on learning as a superpower. There's quite a bit of room in the garage that is this aficionado's heart, so factory-condition classics and widebody contraptions with turbos poking through the hood can peacefully coexist.
