There are certain markets out there where the 63 AMG version of the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen is outselling its “lesser” brethren by quite a large margin, despite not exactly being the most affordable SUV in the three-pointed star lineup.
Such markets are the US, Russia and of course the Middle East, where the G 63 AMG has become somewhat of a cult.
In fact, owning a Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG in cities like Dubai might actually be recommended, as most rich sheiks love driving in the nearby desert. What more appropriate vehicle to surf the sand waves than a V8-engined off-roader with three locking differentials is there?
