If you’re into custom cars but restomods and engine swaps are just too mainstream for you, here’s a totally unexpected mix that you probably didn’t even think it was possible.
Someone out there has created their very own car using parts from a series of models, including Ford, Jaguar, MINI Cooper, and Volvo.

First and foremost, it’s important to know the whole thing has been built from the ground up using a 1996 Ford Mustang as the starting point. As the owner who’s now selling the car on eBay explains, the whole idea was to create something unique while giving it all the modern features like air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth, and others.

So these are all there alongside custom leather seats and a series of other rare features, like an automatic system that reveals and hides the number plate whenever you push a remote button. The whole purpose was to achieve a cleaner look overall, and the owner says they also removed the door handles for the very same reason.

As for the exterior of the car, the original Ford Mustang has received a front grille from an old Jaguar, while the backlights are borrowed from a Volvo XC90, only that they’ve been turned 90 degrees for a more unique look. The front lights come from a MINI Cooper, while the front fenders are based on the design of classic cars manufactured during the ‘30s.

This custom model is built completely from fiberglass, and it also features other fairly rare systems, including a custom-made cover for the two backseats which when used turns the vehicle into a two-seater.

In case you’re wondering, yes, this is a street-legal car in California, and the owner says it has some 1,000 miles (1,600 km) on the clock since it’s been built in 2013. As for the price, it costs $32,000, and it can be checked out in person in Sunnyvale.
