This Ferrari F430 Replica Could Almost Trick You

London is one of the cities that have a strong supercar scene. The British capital holds quite a lot of areas where hyperpowered machines like to hang out and the parking outside the famous Harrods department store is one of them. Nonetheless, it seems that the London’s supercar world is sometimes infiltrated by people who try to cheat the system, bringing replicas to the parade.

Case in point with the “Ferrari F430” in the adjacent video, which was recently spotted in the proximity of Harrods. The owner was apparently trying to blend in with the mass of supercar that usually lie around that area.

The replica is based on a Ford Cougar, a coupe that’s not exactly a stranger to such practices, with the kit being supplied by DNA Automotive.

Nonetheless, we have to admit that this is one of the best-made replicas we’ve ever seen. At least from what we can tell by watching the footage, this could easily trick a set of untrained eyes. The proportions are almost there and the little details are not too bad either. Of course, there are a few hints that point to the car’s fake nature - zoom in on the taillights and you will understand.
