Selling cars is a very competitive activity, regardless whether we’re talking about new or used ones. And since the best way to get in front is through advertising, things like these ads happen.
Have you ever seen an Indian action movie? Believe me, if you had, you’d know. The only way to describe them is that they’re so bad, so absolutely terrible, they’re actually good. It’s true, you’ll end up watching the movie as a comedy, but it will be the best comedy you’ve seen in a while, if not ever.

It’s the same with these ads for used cars posted on Craigslist, which we found thanks to Reddit user La_Alfombra. They’re so weird you don’t really know whether you should take them as a joke, or as some of the worst cases of Photoshop manipulation in the history of Adobe’s software.

Or maybe bringing Photoshop into the equation is taking things a little too far: this botched-up job could have been done in Microsoft paint. What are we talking about? Give me a printer, some scissors, and glue, and I’ll do a more credible job.

The funny thing is these aren’t just your runt of the litter cars, but actually premium vehicles that seem to present themselves in pretty good condition. Or “spotless,” as the ad would say. The man advertises two BMWs - an X3 SUV and a 7-Series limousine - and a Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The cheapest is the 77,000-mile C-Class at $15,477 (very exact), while at the other end of the scale sits the BMW 7-Series with just 28,488 miles on the clock and a pretty nice price of $54,777. We’re guessing this “477” obsession either has to do with his address or phone number, or it’s a new marketing technique he learned during the same class that taught image editing skills.

So, if for some reason you want a Mercedes-Benz C-Class that can get on top of cliffs you will never be able to climb off, bits of a BMW X3 that was blown away by an explosion or a 7-Series that comes with a huge parking ticket issued by the Paris Police, you know where to look.
