We might touch a sensitive aspect of a petrolhead's personality by talking about Tonka die-cast toys, but trust us we only mean good.
Tonka is best-known for their Mighty Dump Truck, and their other Trucks sold around the world are known for being indestructible, even though the steel found in the original toys was replaced by plastic from the late 1980s onwards.

That's as far as we'll go with the history lesson because we have more important things to tell you. For example, how a Toyota 4Runner became a real-life version Tonka truck.

It all looks sweet in the photos, but we must tell you that this 4Runner goes way deeper than its body kit. For example, the Tonka 4Runner features a 10-inch Bulletproof suspension lift with King shocks and a roof tent. Impressed? Don't be just yet, because there's more.

Those who built this one-off 4Runner fitted it with 38-inch Mickey Thompson tires and Ultra wheels, so it's not hard to guess who will win in a battle with the sand dunes or any other type of rough terrain you can think of.

But again, they didn't just limit to the exterior and the mechanical part. The cabin is also worthy of the Tonka badge. Those inside will feel the spoils courtesy of a custom Alpine Audio system installed by Pacific Stereo while passers-by admire the Funrise-designed full vehicle wrap covering this toy for adults.

We have to hand it to you; the Toyota 4Runner is good at a lot of things, but we would have never expected it to play such a big part in the real-life mirroring of a classic toy.

According to Truck Trend, the SUV debuted at the property of Tonka Motorsports driver Myan Spaccarelli in the company of representatives of Funrise Toys, the licensor of the Tonka brand, but we can't tell you how much will it cost at this point.
