This Could Be The World's Fastest G 55 AMG

Until a newcomer should present itself soon, we kind of want to award the following Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG with the title of the “World's fastest G-Class.”
Unless some twin-turbocharged monstrosity from GAD Tuning or the likes begins to show its fangs with some four-figure horsepower, we think that the following Weistec-tuned G-Class is good as a title-holder for quite some time.

Considering that the car is mostly stock (just look at the tires), the low 12s times it consistently delivers over the quarter mile are pretty much astounding.

In short, the peeps from Weistec Engineering took a Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG daily driver, exchanged its original supercharger with a Weistec M113K supercharger, a Weistec 82mm throttle body upgrade, some new headers in front of the stock mufflers and filled it with 100 octane fuel.

The result, as you can see, is pretty much astonishing, especially when thinking that the G 55 AMG is technically a 6,000 pounds cupboard on wheels.
