We've all heard of huge ships that are like city downtowns cruising the ocean. In fact, we have written about many incredible water concepts that even include deep sea cities that can sustain themselves in an echo-conscious way. But how many of you have heard of a personal yacht that looks exactly like a small island resort?
British company Yacht Island Design based in Nottingham has been working on a concept yacht that is simply mind-blowing. The point was to create an idyllic, floating island, with all the features of a tropical island getaway built into the design. We’re talking about bamboo huts, waterfall, and even some symbolic mountains in the back.

The final result shows a concept yacht with a main deck that includes a swimming pool, guest cabanas, bar and outdoor dining. The waterfall can quite clearly be seen running from the volcano and feeding into the swimming pool.

Taking a look at the interior of this marvelous creation, we’re looking at the suite of the owners which is located inside the volcano and spreads over two decks. The living room balcony affords views out over the front of the yacht from behind the waterfall. Located behind the bedroom is the owner's private spa.

The beach deck deploys

Another rendering showing the back of the vessel envisions the sculpted wave-form of the superstructure, as well as the rear deck that doubles as a helicopter landing pad. If that wasn’t enough to have our jaws dropped, further accommodation is found on the flanks. These take the form of four VIP suites, all having private balconies and direct access up into the beach cabanas.

As to the regular “I’m getting bored on this millionaire toy” kind of feeling tycoon daughters sometimes get, you don’t have to worry at all. This out-of-this-world concept yacht has everything covered. The beach deck deploys and allows access to the sea for various water sports and sea level relaxation.

To that, an indoor entertainment adds up. We’re talking about cinema, library, games room and gym. The “average” relaxation options in the form of a multitude of lounges each offering their own unique ambiance complete this fantasy scenario.

Will it ever cruise the sea? Considering the level of opulence of some people, we're more than sure it will.
