One might imagine that collecting cars is all about grabbing the best pieces one enjoys and placing them together. And while this is true, there are plenty of other details that need to be sorted out. For instance, what good is it to have one's pride and joy indoors if this isn't visible? Well, one way to address this matter involves covers that match the spec of the car, as is the case with the Ferraris that brought us here.
We're talking about car covers that replicate the configuration of the machines they protect. For now, we'll focus on three splendid automobiles, namely the Ferrari F12 TDF, the Ferrari FXX K Evo (the latest form of the LaFerrari's racing version) and the Maserati MC12.
You can check out these beasts with their covers on and off in the Instagram posts below. And yes, they all share a garage, as they belong to the collection of Greg B.
As the aficionado, who often turns to social media to share his automotive adventures with the world, explains, these covers were gifts from a Ferrari dealer.
The F12 Tour De France and the MC12 accessories landed earlier this month, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, while the FXX K Evo came last week, when the Fezza visited the Nurburgring - here's more on that adventure, from the tech changes that were required by the Ring visit to the raw in-cabin experience.
As you'll notice, the Fezzas of the said collector pack similar specs, with the shade of grees displayed on these Italian beasts being famous on social media. In fact, the collector has even convinved Ferrari's Tailor Made department to name the hue after him, with this being listed on the vehicle.
For now, the collector used Scuderia Ferrari F1 driving gloves, so perhaps he needs to also have these color-coded....
