Don’t really know who would like to drive this thing, but if you’re into weird stuff, we got something here - a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 turned into a “showcar” firetruck.
It’s really hard to tell the original car this project started with, because the Chevy pickup has been chopped a lot. It barely has a flatbed, the front points downwards, a huge engine is sticking up through a cut-through and there’s an extra set of wheels there with a big radiator at the front.
The ad says every extra bit on the car has been custom fabricated out from scratch. Things like the interior panels, rear wheel covers, all the plumbing and wiring, the radiator grille and fan, headlights and taillights as well as the extra fiberglass body at the front.
The engine is a Seagrave/Pierce 461 cui V12 bolted to a Chevy 700r4 overdrive transmission. Can’t tell how much horsepower it develops, but it should be enough to spin those rear tires quite fast.
We guarantee you haven’t seen such a thing before and if hell would need a firetruck to keep its deepest flames under control, this would be the car of choice. It comes in pretty cheap for the amount of work it has been put into it, so hurry up with the bidding before Satan gets it first.
