Over the years we’ve seen many abandoned supercars and, on occasions, some of these situations were just unbelievable, but we haven’t seen a Bugatti Veyron in such a state. Until now that is.
The photo above shows a Veyron that’s clearly seen better days, with the hypercar having reportedly been abandoned in the depths of Mother Russia. The pic showed up on the web less than 24 hours ago and it has started quite a debate. From here on, everything is speculation.

Certain people claim the 986 hp (1,001 PS) machine belongs to an exotic and luxury car dealer in Moscow and that this is the Veyron example that got rear-ended by an Aston Martin back in 2013.
We’ve also included the photo of the costly accident below. If you look closely at the “blurred-out” decal on the side of the crashed Veyron, you can see a logo that appears to be that of the Autolehmann dealership that is claimed to own the car.

It’s not exactly easy to assess if the damage is identical in each of the pictures, but we have to admit it looks like this is the same hypercar. Autolehmann is the kind of exotics dealership with an incredible budget. While covering the Veyron repair job probably wouldn’t be that much of an issue, there are plenty of reasons that could prevent this, with insurance matters being the most likely.

For instance, you might remember the guy who crashed a Veyron into a lake in Texas back in 2009. Well, Andy Lee House pleaded guilty to an insurance fraud charge last year.

We’ve reached out to Autolehmann to ask for some light to be shed on this painful Veyron case, but have received no response so far.
