This Apple Car Looks Like a Mouse With Wheels, Comes Without a Battery and Cable

Apple is working around the clock on getting the Apple Car ready for prime time, or at least that’s what people close to the matter claim. Still, as with everything the Cupertino-based tech giant does, all details are still safely guarded behind its closed doors at the UFO-like headquarters.

In the meantime, skilled designers out there have come up with their own proposals as to how the car should look, and a video published only a few hours ago by Concept Creator on YouTube imagines the exterior design of the vehicle from all angles.

While we won’t comment too much on how this Apple Car looks like, the first thing it comes to mind is an Apple Magic Mouse with wheels. At some level, this actually makes sense given they’re both Apple products and design cues are typically carried from one project to another.

The concept also comes with a funny part, one that perfectly matches Apple’s recent approach in the smartphone market. The Apple Car comes without a battery and a charger, but of course, you can buy them separately - in case you didn’t figure out yourselves, this is a reference to Apple’s decision to remove the charger from the iPhone 12 box and force customers to get it for an extra fee.

As for the actual Apple Car, people familiar with the matter suggested it is projected to go live at some point in 2024, as the Cupertino-based tech giant is already discussing the manufacturing plans with a series of suppliers.

A recent unlikely report, however, claims the whole thing could happen much earlier, as Apple is said to be discussing the actual mass production with its partners. This, according to the report, is supposed to kick off sometime next year, while the unveiling of the Apple Car could finally take place in the fall of 2021. If you ask us, that’s just wishful thinking, and there’s a 99.99% chance this wouldn’t happen.
