Some have learned a completely strange language; some have made intricate LEGO creations without the Danish company’s famous instructions, and others have jogged on social media with toilet paper. Oh, and let’s not forget that UK dwellers opted to chill out and answer a survey about their dream celebrity appearing on the alleyway with their new car.
That is according to a new poll published by Motorpoint, a well-known independent British car retailer that acts as a sort of car supermarket for used and almost new cars from a wide pool of car brands. The company actually introduced a new home delivery service just prior to the lockdown and wanted to know if they should hire new staff to better cater to their customers.
We bet they are not going to pursue a headhunting strategy for the representatives of the free home delivery service that came up on top in the poll. This is because the company asked its clients and fans about the top celebrity they would like to see arriving in the driveway with their next car purchase.
As it turns out, the renowned action star Jason Statham was the one who accumulated most votes, coming out in front of renowned names such as Ant n Dec, Idris Elba, Robbie Williams, and David Beckham. The rest of the top ten was composed of Jurgen Klopp, Daniel Craig, Tom Hardy, Peter Kay and Lewis Hamilton.
Statham, 52, is a famous actor that rose to prominence with his portrayal of Frank Martin, a former Special Forces solider turned expert driver in the hit Euro series “The Transporter.” His career seems to have always revolved around fast machines, from the Audis of the former franchise to the submersibles of The Meg and, of course, the high-speed thrill rides in the Fast & Furious blockbuster saga.
