Back at the 2013 edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show the nutters from Brabus brought an entire army of new products based on Mercedes-Benz models, with each competing for the spotlight in terms of that traditional Brabus sinister look.
Their B63S-700 power kit for the G 63 AMG is by far one of their most evil projects, especially when paired with the Brabus Widestar bodykit and a set of Brabus Monoblock R light-alloy wheels that measure 22 inches.
The Bottrop engineers took the reasonably powerful M157 twin-turbocharged V8 from the “regular” Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG and added a bit of their magic in terms of a new intake system, a sportier exhaust setup and a specially designed ECU.
The result is rather impressive, as the 5.5-liter V8 now sports no less than 700 hp and 960 Nm (708 lb ft) of torque, more than enough to move the brick-like off-roader in a much more “this shouldn't happen” type of acceleration figures.
We're still kind of flabbergasted at how menacing the Widestar bodykit makes the car look when seeing it from the front though.
