Among several other exclusive collectables, the 2014 Big Boys Toys exhibition will display the world’s most expensive art bicycle. Staged in the UAE this October, the one-of-a-kind artwork will be on sale for $2 million and is designed by international artist Jack Armstrong.
Big Boys Toys is the region’s premier lifestyle event, featuring the greatest, fastest, sleekest, most unique and luxurious products from an amazing lineup of the world’s most renowned manufacturers of luxury products. And what better example of opulence than a bicycle that costs more than a brand new hybrid supercar to figure out what type of an exhibition this is?

The art bicycle was designed by international artist Jack Armstrong who vows never to produce another one again, so the exclusive features is also integrated. Called the Cosmic Star-Cruiser ArtBike, the world’s probably most expensive non-motor two-wheeler follows the artist’s other eccentric creation, the Cosmic Harley Davidson Motorcycle, he finished in 2010 and that sold for $3 million.

According to Arabian Business, Armstrong developed and achieved prominence for this new art style which includes a 3D effect in paint with extreme use of color, light, texture and the written word in paint.

What, $2 million is a jaw-dropping price for a bicycle? Well, at least the proceeds from the sale will benefit the youth of the Middle East through the Academy of Business Leadership, by helping them bring to life their entrepreneurial innovations. So stop hating.
