Finding the perfect project car takes time, especially if you’re looking for a model that can be restored easily without spending a fortune on the whole thing.
The 1975 Dodge Dart that we have here comes with its own pros and cons as far as a restoration is concerned, and the owner himself admits it’s “a puzzle.”

More specifically, they say the transmission needs critical fixes, as it must be rebuilt and then put back in. This is something that a new owner would have to do, as they’re now selling the car on Facebook Marketplace for $3,500.

The Dart is powered by a 318ci (5.2-liter) V8 engine and comes with a “good” interior, as it’s mentioned in the ad on Facebook. Furthermore, it still comes with the original wheels, which is something that you really don’t find too often on a car that’s so old.

The car does come with a shift kit and gaskets for the transmission. The interior is good. It is the perfect project car if you have the time. Has a new rear end needs fluid before it is driven, come with 3 15 inch wheels for the rear and has all 4 original wheels,” the owner explains.

The engine most likely doesn’t start, so you won’t be able to just drive it back home should you purchase it. The owner says it’ll have to be towed from Tucson, Arizona.

As for the price, this Dart is surprisingly affordable, especially because at first glance, it doesn’t necessarily require an insane amount of repairs. The seller says they expect to get some $3,500 for the car and you should make an offer if you want to buy it.

The Dodge Dart still has plenty of users in the United States, so if you want to check out this model, there’s no doubt you should hurry up.
