While original Mustangs are the models so many people are drooling after, others would rather go for a restomod package for the modern upgrades such a treatment typically brings. And since it’s Ford Month here at autoevolution, we can’t help but highlight some of the best custom upgrades old Mustang have already received, who knows, maybe helping some of them find a new owner.
And the ’67 Mustang Convertible we have here is the living proof restomods too deserve a chance, especially when the work has been top-notch in every single area.

First and foremost, the Mustang now hides a 408ci V8 engine under the hood, and this one is paired with a TKO 5-speed manual transmission. The unit develops no less than 490 horsepower, and the odometer indicates just 1 mile (1.6 km), which means you’ll be able to enjoy the new car feeling when getting behind the wheel.

Painted in Silver Metallic with a burgundy and black interior, this Mustang comes with everything in just perfect working condition, and the minute you open the door, everything looks exquisite, to say the least. And the photos we’ve included in the gallery pretty much speak for themselves.

The car comes with the original wood rim Mustang steering wheel, but on the other hand, the two-tone custom interior now features all kinds of modern goodies, including Dakota digital gauges, a custom sound system, and an air conditioning system from Vintage Air.

The Mustang now rides on chromed 17-inch 5-spoke Ridler wheels and uses Uniroyal tires, 205s in front and 275s for the back, while also flexing a Shelby hood scoop and grille-mounted lights because this is a custom build after all.

It goes without saying a Mustang restomod like this one really can’t come cheap, and unfortunately, it really doesn’t. Sold by MAX Motive, the car can be yours for $94,500, but some financing options are also offered.
