Most cyclometers are installed on the handlebars of your bicycle and require that extra clamp that not everybody would prefer if they had a choice. Now they do, with this new type of computer mount from Silca, which is very likely to be the most expensive one on the market.
Silca Mensola is a 3D-printed mount and is made of 6Al/4V titanium. It gets attached to your stem, saving up space on your handlebar. The titanium mount is light but also extremely strong and corrosion-resistant.
According to the company, the aerodynamic design and materials of the Mensola make it six to 12 times stronger than conventional mounts made of aluminum and also 10 to 15 percent lighter. Depending on the size you opt for, your Mensola mount can weigh between 27 to 35 grams (0.9 to 1.2 oz).

The computer mount comes with included 4mm (0.1 in) titanium bolts. The mount is available in several lengths ranging from 22 to 35 mm (0.8 to 1.3 in) which makes it compatible with most stem faceplates.

The technology used by Silca to 3D print the computer mount is called Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) and melts titanium powder with a laser, in a specific layered pattern.

Titanium printed bike accessories have become quite popular over the last few years. We also have brands such as Bastion, which makes titanium cranks and stems, and Pinarello, famous for its titanium cockpits, to name just a few.

Silca Mensola has been tested to work with Garmin and Wahoo computers, but it’s most likely compatible with others, as well. It can rotate 90 degrees.

Its stylish look, aerodynamic, light, and durable design, make the Mensola computer mount a premium product. And while you would normally spend around $20 on a mount for your cyclometer, the Silca Mensola comes at a steep price of $175. You can order it from the company’s website.
