This 12C Spider Is Probably the World's Highest Mileage McLaren

The British automaker invited the driver of the machine to open up about his supercar, with the man being extremely sincere about the kind of assets that determined him to rack up over 81,000 miles (130,000 km) in his Mac.

Having bought the car as a Christmas present for himself three and a half years ago, Urs Tschuding, the Swiss owner of this 12C is a man that likes to take advantage of the vehicle's warp speed abilities on the Autobahn, while also enjoying the practical aspects. You know, stuff like the Mclaren allowing him to take his pijamas along when he goes for a cross-Europe trip.

We're talking about a man who fully dips into the Grand Tourer part of the 12C Spider. Owning a company that builds CNC centerless grinding machines, the businessman needs to visit his customers often, hence the long trips.

And with such machines also being used in the automotive industry (diesel injection tech is an example as good as any), being able to enjoy such a twin-turbocharged return on investment must feel awesome.

While the businessman doesn't say anything about a replacement, we're willing to bet he's the type of loyal customer who wants to wait for the British automaker to introduced the next-generation platform before trading in his 12C Spider.
