Although a 2007 Lexus GS 450h doesn’t look too sporty, being more oriented towards driving in style with low fuel consumptions, we consider it a sleeper.
The engine bay of the third gen Lexus GS 450h houses a 3.5-liter V6 and two electric motors, totaling 345 horsepower. It may not sound too much, but seeing how fast it can accelerate in the video bellow makes you think that hybrids are a bit down rated for what they can do.

The magic happens due to the massive torque the electric motors can output at any rpm, overcoming the vehicle’s inertia and boost it to speed under six seconds.

Hit the play button bellow to see how a stock 2007 Lexus GS 450h rips through gears and hits 100 km/h (62 mpg) in just 5.5 seconds.
