Back in 2011, RENNtech was taking the tuning world by storm by releasing their C74 wide bodykit for the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG at the Gunagzhou International Automotive Aftermarket Show, which is pretty much the Chinese equivalent of the American SEMA show or the European Tuning Salon at Essen.
Since the exterior tuning package was most likely the culprit behind the fall of a lot of Chinese jaws to the floor at the show, the C74 wide bodykit conversion for the C 63 AMG is still drawing the spotlights.
The “74” bit in the bodykit's name comes from... wait for it... the car's track width after the conversion, which pretty much transforms the already evil-looking C 63 AMG in a DTM car for the road in terms of looks.
The exaggerated width allows the fitment of up to 11 inch wide rear wheels with 315 mm wide tires, creating a contact patch for the feisty AMG sedanthat's pretty much similar to almost any modern supercar.
The following two C 63 AMG models with two versions of the RENNtech C74 bodykit were apparently built by the One Hundred Tuning Club in Beijing, and we have a feeling that the cool photos in the adjacent gallery don't give them enough justice.
