These Forza Cars Are So Fast They Leave Even Their Brakes Behind

If you’re playing Forza Horizon, or another title of the Forza series, there’s a good chance you’re probably used already to occasionally coming across the most unexpected bugs.
And more recently, the graphics glitch that takes everyone by surprise appears to target the brake system of the cars players choose to race in Forza.

More specifically, some players are complaining that when starting a race, the car accelerates, leaving the brakes behind in the original place. Someone has even returned to the starting point to see if their brakes are still there and, unsurprisingly, that’s exactly where they found them.

On the good side, it’s important to know this is just a visual glitch, so cars aren’t losing their brakes entirely. Every player is still able to slow down and brake just like usual.

Is there any way to fix this on your own? Not really, as a patch is the only way to resolve the problem, and of course, there’s no ETA as to when one such fix could land.

In the meantime, there’s no clear pattern as to who is leaving their brakes behind and who doesn’t. While some originally believed that it’s something related to the car that they’re using to play Forza, it looks like it isn’t, as many confirmed that the glitch happens occasionally regardless of the model they drive.

In other words, if you lose your brakes with one car right now, restarting the race with the same car could have everything back in place with no graphics glitch whatsoever.

If you want to see the glass half full, this bug allows you to inspect the brake system that was developed for each car in the game much closer. As you can see in the video below, all it takes it going back to the race starting point where your brakes will always be waiting for you no matter what.
