Sometimes you have to leave surveys, tests, customer’s opinions and other time consuming evaluation procedures aside and choose with your heart. It makes no sense that a certain vehicle gets praised in most of the tests if you don’t want it.
As a result, the editors at Edmunds recently came up with a list containing several vehicles they would like to buy. Their “survey” is not based on best value for money, reliability or other factors that most tests include. They simply picked a vehicle in each class that appears to be the “best”.

Moving to the facts, the list has three Toyota models that took first place in three different categories. So, for a full-size sedan, Edmunds nominated the 2013 Toyota Avalon that comes with “an eye-pleasing design and top-notch materials”, making it feel more like a Lexus ES; the small pickup truck segment was dominated by the 2013 Tacoma and the 2013 Prius as the best hybrid you can have.
