Sedgley is a suburban area in the north of the Dudley Metropolitan Borough. In other words, it’s a large village in the West Midlands county of the UK. It’s also the home of a great Ghost Busters fan who spent serious money to turn a Cadillac Mille-Meteor into the famous Ecto-1.
Could you do groceries dressed in the same suit the actual ghost busters would chase monsters from another world in the famous movie? Well, this nice fellow can, and so do his friends whenever they meet.

Meet Paul Harborne from Sedgley, West Midlands, a man who had to have the same car they drove in the movie. Is it related to the rumored sequel that is currently in the preps? Probably not.

In fact, according to what the 53-year-old Ghost Buster told Caters TV, he bought the car before any plans of a new movie have been announced. But what is this car, anyway?

Underneath this quite accurate Ecto-1 replica, there’s a rare 1960 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Harborne bought back in 2010. It took him three years to turn it into what the auto is now. And don't you think changing the vehicle in a hero car came cheap either because it didn't.

In fact, Paul estimates he has spent £100,000 ($155,575 at the current exchange rate) to recreate every little detail around the iconic vehicle. We’ll let you be the judge of the outcome, but considering the reactions its creator gets on the streets whenever he takes the Ecto-1 replica out of the garage, it’s safe to assume it’s a success.
