KLM’s Lost & Found team at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol just got a little bigger, after the company decided to “hire” a Beagle, specially trained to return lost items to their legitimate owners. Netherlands’ flag airline recently posted a video showing the young fellow in action, on their Youtube channel. Be advised, the cuteness level is extremely high.
Getting your baggage lost at the airport is something you have experienced at least once in your life, we’re pretty sure. But what you probably never thought off is that even after travelers’ goods are found, locating the owners can sometimes be a challenge. This is why KLM decided to hire “special forces.”

Personally I think he is a real asset to the company. And he can really do something no one else can. Our main goal is to return lost items to the owner. As fast as possible. To do that, we monitor social media. And the crew checks the plane after every flight. I really like the fact that we are now getting some help with that,” one of the employees at the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol believes.

And having such a cute dog returning your kid’s beloved teddy bear found by the cabin crew kind of makes your smile, come to think about it. According to the company, the dog is trained for muscle strength, endurance and, of course, socialization so there is no need to worry.

We don’t know about you, but with that kind of service we’re pretty sure there’re a lot of people that would willingly lose something just to get to play with the dog for change.
