Say hello to the JKUS, short for JK Unlimited STREEEEEETCH. It's a 6-door version of the Wrangler for those who find the Unlimited's four access points not enough.
Our attention was grabbed on Facebook when Forgiato Wheels posted the photo above. Sure, the candy blue wheels were interesting, but not as interesting as the truck itself.
This Wrangler could easily double as a bus, thanks to three rows of seats, two of which are benches. In every other respect, the Wrangler is built like a regular off-road rig, with lifted suspension, tow hooks, a roll-over cage and lots of articulation. However, there's at least four or five feet of extra legroom. The only thing missing is a beer cooler, but considering that the police would see it, it's a good thing they left it out.
This particular 6-wheeler belongs to Swat Motorsports of Las Vegas. We don't know what they use it for, but we imagine it's a hell of a party on wheels. Besides the Forgiato Terra wheels, it has also gained matte black paint.
When we googled the truck to find more photos, we didn't expect to find another one. But there is such a thing in Texas. You know what they say, everything is longer over there.
The difference is that the one in San Antonia also has a HEMI engine. That'll do pig, that'll do! We like it even better because it's got tubes instead of doors.
Kudos to the builder for installing all these fancy features on the ultimate family 7-seat SUV:
