Before getting into the specifics, let us remind you that similar to what most of the luxury automakers do in the industry, Mercedes-Benz also decided to build up on their lifestyle branch and make use of celebrities to promote their products. While some sportscars makers like Ferrari and Lamborghini are rather into the outwear stuff, Mercedes seems to be really into fashion and everything that comes along.

So apart from the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the Germans are also running these somewhat new video series dubbed Style Profiles, when they ask famous artists, singers and musicians to talk about their work and how their creative process and enviable wardrobe helps them be successful. Or something like that.

We’d normally pass subjects like these since we don’t really have time to waste. However, sinnce we like to be up to date with what Mercedes-Benz does, we’ve stumbled upon this short video teaser starring the Trinidadian-born American rapper and singer from Brooklyn, New York City.

It seems like the fellow is trying to follow the same path Pharrell Williams is currently walking on with his fashion ventures.

Do not bring up Jimi Hendrix, please!

The fact that he’s talking all that gibberish about always wearing a hat is not that annoying. Not even the shameful way London is admitting that he wears sun glasses because he’s in fact a shy person on stage is not that irritating. But when he starts comparing himself with iconic artists like Jimi Hendrix that’s when our eyes turn red.

Theophilus, lay back, relax and go back to music school for another two decades or so! Only then you may be able to talk about one of the greatest guitarists in human kind’s history.
