British company Stewart Golf has recently released their newest golf trolley. Named like one of BMW's SUV, the X9 Follow was build using the latest technology on the market and will come after you on the field with only one push of the button.
It was designed to make your life on the course significantly more convenient and it really does that. With a top speed of 50 mph, the X9 will cary all your staff while it goes wherever you tell it to. The robot-like troller has useful components which include a towel clip, scorecard holder and pencil clip, 3 golf ball holders, 4 tee holders, anti-rotation bag straps and a quick release strap handles.
The X9 is Bluetooth connected to a rechargeable remote control you hold in your pocket, and comes with state-of-the-art mechanics. This follower is powered by a very efficient rechargeable lithium-ion battery and can be completely folded down to fit in compact spaces (such as the trunk of you car).
And you don’t have to worry about it falling, considering it boasts downhill braking, an integrated stabilizer to keep it from tipping over and a V3 wheel set - which feature a more flatter profile than standard alloy wheel. According to its creators, compared to the previous alloy wheel design, as a set of 4 wheels, weight has been reduced by 30% which increase efficiency and therefore battery life.
You’ve probably already guessed, a golf trolley that follows you on the field won’t come cheap. However, even though this game is considered to be one rather preferred by the wealthy people out there, the X9 Follow is not really that expensive. You’ll need £1,500 ($2,500) to pre-order one online.
