The Enduro version of the Multistrada 1200 is an upgraded model of the sport-adventure motorcycle, but which Ducati equipped with tougher wheels and accessories designed to provide better performance off the road.

Multistrada 1200 Enduro is therefore a direct competitor for other big names in this segment, the BMW R1200GS/GS Adventure, KTM 1190 Adventure or even 1290 Super Adventure, Yamaha's XT1200Z Super Tenere or the Triumph Tiger Explorer.

The "sins" the base version Multistrada 1200 had have been forgiven, with the introduction of wire spoked wheels and revised ergonomics and riding stance making a solid change in the way the bike behaves in the wild.

The electronic package remains a highlight of the Multistrada 1200 Enduro

Even though Ducati added praiseworthy ruggedness to the base Multistrada 1200, the smart character of its electronic package was kept intact and adapted better to the off-road conditions.

The bike has no less than four riding modes, Sport, Urban, Touring and Enduro, and activating each of these changes the character of the machine entirely.

Variables such as peak power and power deployment vary accordingly, with Sport offering an energetic delivery for the 160 horsepower the engine produces. The other three modes offer a more progressive power delivery, with Urban and Enduro limiting the power to 100 hp.

The performance of the Skyhook suspension, ABS and traction control are also changing accordingly. Multiple other settings can be altered so that the Multistrada 1200 Enduro remains a thrilling, engaging and safe motorcycle for both highly-experienced off-road riders and those who are just tapping into the adventure riding world.

In the Enduro mode, the Ducati Traction Control system can be set to Super Safe for novices. Expert riders can, of course, have crazy fun on their favorite terrain with other settings.

Have fun watching the video below and long for the riding season! And here are some live photos from EICMA 2015!
