The Unbeatable Porsche: An Aventador and 700 HP C63 AMG Couldn’t Stop It – Video

The Porsche 911 Turbo is a beast even in stock guise but when you also tune and massage its 3.8-liter engine things get a little out of control. As standard, the car has 520 HP at its disposal to carry the 1.6-ton body. Is it enough?

Well, coupled with the 710 Nm (524 lb-ft) of torque, we’d say it’s enough, especially since 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill come up on the speedometer in 3.4 seconds. That’s supercar performance and the Porsche isn’t afraid to show it.

What happens when you tune it though? Madness, madness I tell you! The guys from DragTimes Info know that for sure as they recently held a drag race between one such modified monster and two other similarly impressive cars.

Due to a PP-Performance stage 1 kit, the Porsche’s output went up to 650 HP, not a huge increase but impressive nonetheless. The first opponent it went up against was a Lamborghini Aventador. Care to guess how much power the Lambo has? Well, it was stock so it’s easy to figure out the 700 HP figure.

It wasn’t enough not even to keep up let alone win. In the Italian’s defense, it was still stock, as we said and with a little attention paid to its V12 we’re pretty sure the numbers can go up by a significant amount especially if forced induction is involved.

On the other hand, the C63 AMG that came up next was tuned, its 6.2-liter V8 putting down 700 HP thanks to a Morendi-Weistec tune and that’s a beast we’ve seen going up against a 900 HP ZR1 earlier and showing its back side to an 800 HP M6. Could it be enough to take down the Porsche?
