The ‘Transformed’ 2010 Chevy Camaro Now in Dealerships

Since its unveiling at the 2006 Detroit Auto Show and its debut in the first "Transformers" movie as Bumblebee, the 2010 Chevy Camaro has been desired by many. This month, GM has brought the car to dealerships for the satisfaction of those who waited so long.

For the last year, Chevrolet dealers have been taking deposits on the new Camaro. More than 14,000 people, most of whom haven't even seen the car in "person", not to mention taking it for a test drive, will soon be receiving their cars.

The design is very faithful to the original concept that made Hollywood director Michael Bay cast it as main-character of the 2007 summer box-office hit movie and it also acknowledges Camaro's heritage, particularly the famous 1969 Camaro.

The 2010 Camaro comes in ten exterior colors Black, Victory Red, Rally Yellow, Silver Ice Metallic, Cyber Gray Metallic, Aqua Blue Metallic, Inferno Orange Metallic, White and Imperial Blue Metallic and Red Jewel Tincoat.

With powerplants ranging from the "puny" V6 engine developing 300 hp to the mighty V8 with 426 hp, the 2010 Camaro's MSRP starts at $22,995 and comes with Bluetooth phone and USB connectivity, a Boston Acoustics audio system, OnStar, and XM satellite radio.

The high demand on the new Camaro made many Chevrolet dealers stop taking deposits for it, but in the meantime, you can still take a look at it in "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen" coming out at the end of June, and in Chevy showrooms nationwide.
