If it’s Top Gear and bad behavior you’re looking for, The Stig has been doing it for far longer than Jeremy Clarkson. In fact, the most famous tame racing driver in the world has been hooning about the track like a madman for over a decade.
Just to get your mind off the idea that Jeremy is probably leaving the show, which might even be canceled for all of eternity, here’s a video where Stig drivers the Hennessey VelociRaptor 650 Crew Cab like it’s been stolen. At first glance, this large truck doesn’t belong on a race track, especially a very wet one, but the yellow beast has some tricks up its sleeves.

First of all, the 6.2-liter Ford V8 has been blown using a TVS2300 Supercharger System bolted on top. There’s also a new air-to-water intercooler, high flow air induction system, larger injectors and so on. Where are we getting at? Well, even though this looks like a farmer’s too, the output can exceed 650 horsepower.

Performance is comparable to a basic sportscar, in that 0 to 60 mph sprints take 5.2 seconds and the quarter mile sprint is done in 13.6 seconds at 103 mph. The Baja-inspired truck runs on
17-inch Hennessey wheels running 33-inch tires from BF Goodrich. There are also other performance upgrades like Brembo brakes, coilover suspension and bigger front and rear bumpers.

At the end of the day, it’s never going to be as fast as a Porsche around the Top Gear track, but just look how fun that is in the wet!
