With all the guilt people force on automotive aficionados, it seems that even The Stig has succumbed, giving in to the social acceptance temptation of eco motoring. We know, this sounds a bit like an apocalypse (actually, a bit more), but it’s the truth. The man machine even posted a photo on his Facebook account to prove it.
Wait, wait, don’t do anything irrational yet - you didn’t actually believe The Stig would be caught up in the ecologists’ web, didn’t you? The white helmet barer has used the combustion in his brain to come up with a solution that would allow the automotive world to go on undisturbed.

Oh yes, Stiggie is still riding monsters with almost a thousand horsepower, it’s just that, this time, they happen to have some electric motors strapped to them. As for the pic we were talking about, The Stig is seen racing a Porsche 918 Spyder against a McLaren P1.

We have to admit it, The Stig looks pretty good with the wind in his helmet and we’ve even heard a rumor on this hybrid topic. People say the stig will carry a pocket-sized electric motor in his fire-proof apparel from now on, so that any car he drives become a hybrid.

Come to think about it, the idea doesn’t sound all that bad. It’s just that we can’t all afford the cars Stig drives, so we came up with a solution - you could, for instance, place an electric stirrer in the glove box of $60k Challenger Hellcat...
