The Sports Shows Custom Yamaha SR400 to Drool Over

Asia is literally full of small-displacement bikes, with machines bigger than 200cc being significantly less likely to be met on the streets. However, this does not mean that they're not there: and The Sports' Yamaha SR400 is one of the best proofs for this.

Thailand-based The Sports is a small workshop with great ambitions, but their showcase SR400 is anything but a small bike. In fact, they've managed to create such a luscious machine that it's more than a motorcycle: it's a statement in style, a fist slammed on the table, and a loud claim in the custom industry.

While the original Yamaha SR400 is an iconic bike with good looks, The Sports' re-make builds on luxurios principles and fluid shapes which turn the head and please the eye. With extreme attention for the most minute of details, such as the discrete engravings and carefully laud out chromed accents, the SR400 shines extremely bright.

The seat pan and rear cowl are a one-piece design with hand-stitched diamond leather trims and which can be lifted to provide access to some components. We loved the extremely creative fuel level gauge on the right side of the tank! This is a proof of creative engineering and we're hooked!

The matte black SuperTrapp exhaust is as cool as it gets, and we know it adds some points to the performance figures, too.The Sports, we need more of your bikes!

Enjoy the plethora of pictures and you'll then most likely agree with the bike's motto: Sometimes the destination is not as important as the journey... Tipped by UPDLT.
