Today’s kids have Minecraft to put their imagination and crafting skills at work, but back when we were young, we had LEGO. It’ basically the same concept but you get to physically feel and play with your creation. Thank goodness the thing is still around alive and kicking and coming with new features.
The number of bits and pieces LEGO comes with now can allow you build a lot of interesting stuff; especially cars, planes and boats. Heck, if you have enough of them, you could build a full size car powered by air. Or scale models after iconic movie vehicles.

After we’ve seen the A-Team van, Transformer’s Bumblebee and the DeLorean from Back to the Future, why not checking out The Spaceballs’ Winnebago. A LEGO enthusiasts just made it out of scratch and with your help it could be offered as an official kit.

The Spaceballs turns 30 next year and it will be nice for fans to have their own official LEGO interstellar Winnebago. The project currently has 852 supporters, but the road to a minimum of 10,000 is still long and only you could help by visiting the product’s page here.

For the youngest of you, Spaceballs is a parody film released in 1987, co-written and directed by Mel Brooks. The production mocks the original Star Wars trilogy as well as other similar-themed movies like Alien, Star Trek and the Planet of the Apes.

The Winnebago RV, called the Eagle 5, wants to be a low-buck Millenium Falcon, with wings, thrusters and everything else. In the movie, it also has a funny bumper sticker reading “I <3 Uranus”. Check it out in the trailer below and go watch the full movie if you didn’t.
