Enter The Sled, one more smooth machine from Big Bear Choppers. Definitely a bike which cannot go unnoticed in a parking lot or when blazing along the highway, the Sled proudly displays Kevin Alsop's vision on how a true chopper should look like.
The low seat is a trademark for such BBC bikes, and the Sled in no exception: customers will ride with their rears 20" (50cm) above the road, and this will add to the thrill of the trip. The Sled shows the same mid-section stretch of the frame for a balanced construction, while the 40-degree rake and massive, long forks add a unique attire to the build.
Add in the signature Venom swingarm, wrapping front fender, an almost surreal, flowing design for the fuel tank, pull-back bars and machined rims for looks which will make people drool.
The Sled is powered by a Low Vibration V111 engine which puts out 122.8 ft-lb (166.6 Nm) of torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission. BBC also offers an even crazier mill on the options list, the 117cui X-Wedge EFI from SS Cycles and multiple style-focused upgrades.
Just like almost any other Big Bear creation, the Sled comes in a carbureted version for $43,900 (€32,189) and an EFI version for $45,900 (€33,655). Even more, there's a complete unassembled kit ready for you at $27,995 (€20,527).
