The Porsche Carrera GT in which "Fast and Furious" star Paul Walker and former racing driver Roger Rodas died on November 2013 was driven at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour (161 km/h).
According to autopsy reports released Friday, Paul Walker suffered multiple fractures and other traumatic injuries, which were so severe that the actor was not a candidate for tissue donation, the Los Angeles Times reports. Driver Roger Rodas also suffered multiple injuries to the head and a fractured skull.
Walker and his friend Rodas were traveling more than 100 miles per hour when the latter lost control of the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, crashing into a pole and several trees on a street in Santa Clarita. "It appeared that the vehicle was almost split in half," the coroner's report states.
The unfortunate crash occurred more than a month ago, delaying work on "Fast and Furious 7", which was supposed to star Paul Walker as well. Meanwhile, it was confirmed that the movie will be released on April 10, 2015, with a modified script.
